The company began its journey in 2007 with the launch of news24online.com, followed by its Hindi counterpart hindi.news24online.com, to reach a wider audience. Expanding into entertainment, it introduced e24bollywood.com, delivering Bollywood news and updates. Initially relying on Google AdSense, the company steadily grew its revenue base through content aggregators like TIL, Dailyhunt and direct clients including government agencies, strengthening its brand recognition. Over the years, BAG Convergence has consistently adapted to technological shifts and evolving user preferences—transitioning from desktop-focused websites to mobile-first platforms in line with Google’s indexing changes. It also launched dedicated mobile apps (News24, E24) to enhance reader engagement. Leveraging the transition from 2G to 5G, the company continues to deliver personalised, mobile-friendly digital content, ensuring strong presence in India’s dynamic media landscape.
