Turtlemint Fintech Solutions Limited
1. Overview

Turtlemint Fintech Solutions Limited (formerly Turtlemint Fintech Solutions Private Limited, and earlier Fintech Blue Solutions Private Limited) is a tech-enabled insurance distribution platform that connects customers, insurance advisors and insurers. Incorporated in 2015, the Company was the first in India to adopt the point-of-sale person ("PoSP") distribution model and, as of both March 31, 2025 and December 31, 2025, operates the largest certified PoSP network among its peer group (Source: Redseer Report). It operates a "phygital" model, combining a mobile-first technology platform with an on-the-ground network of advisors and a physical branch presence.
The Company distributes retail health, life and motor insurance products through a large and geographically diversified base of 6,31,885 Digital Partners (including 5,07,124 PoSPs) as of December 31, 2025. It has facilitated distribution of 21.87 million insurance policies between April 1, 2022 and December 31, 2025, generating Platform Premium of ₹10,066.10 crore across 19,171 pin codes in India (representing 97.88% of total Indian pin codes as of October 2025).
Turtlemint has materially outpaced the broader retail insurance market. Against an industry GDPI CAGR of approximately 10.3% (retail health, retail life new business and motor) between Fiscals 2020 and 2025, the Company achieved GDPI growth roughly 3.0x higher in the same categories. Its Platform Premium grew at a 33.34% CAGR, from ₹698.90 crore in Fiscal 2020 to ₹2,945.94 crore in Fiscal 2025, and by 33.63% year-on-year in the nine months ended December 31, 2025.
A defining structural feature is the Company's deep penetration of B30+ markets (India excluding the top 30 cities). As of December 31, 2025, 80.09% of Digital Partners are based in B30+ markets and 75.13% of Platform Premium was distributed there — well above the industry's 50%–60% B30+ premium share — positioning the Company in the fastest-growing and most underpenetrated segments of Indian insurance.
2. Business Model and Revenue Streams
Revenue Model
The Company generates revenue primarily from commissions, rewards and fees received from its Insurer Partners. Commission income on direct insurance policies is recognised on the inception date of the risk, subject to establishment of the right to recover, based on statements received from insurance companies. Commission rates and fees are negotiated bilaterally between the Company and each Insurer Partner.
Revenue Concentration (Key Dependency)
- Product-line concentration: The Company derives the majority of revenue from general insurance companies — 93.27% of revenue from operations in the nine months ended December 31, 2025 (87.20% in the prior-year period).
- Channel concentration: Income from distribution of financial products accounted for 98.91% of revenue from operations in the nine months ended December 31, 2025 (96.96% in the prior-year period), underscoring near-total reliance on Insurer Partner economics.
Operating Structure
- Digital Partners are central to the model, acting as trusted advisors who bridge customers and Insurer Partners. They must obtain PoSP certification (under IRDAI PoSP Regulations) administered through the Company's training platform.
- Insurer Partners: The Company works with 45 Insurer Partners as of December 31, 2025, on a non-exclusive basis, with contracts typically ranging from three to ten years.
- No multiple-license burden: A single onboarding allows Digital Partners to distribute a broad range of products across multiple insurers, simplifying regulatory compliance.
