Crazy Snacks Limited
1. Overview
Crazy Snacks Limited is a North India focused bakery and snacks manufacturing company, originally incorporated on December 13, 1995 in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, and converted to a public limited company in July 2024. The Company operates an integrated bakery and packaged snacks business through two manufacturing facilities located in the Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority (GIDA), Uttar Pradesh, and serves consumers primarily across Uttar Pradesh and Bihar through a 2,045-distributor network supported by a fleet of 35 owned vehicles.
The Company offers a portfolio of 297 affordable consumer products spanning breads, buns, cakes, cookies, rusks, namkeen, chips, popcorn, and other snacks, priced between ₹2 and ₹170 to address everyday household consumption needs. Products are sold under three brands — Crazy (mass / value segment), Bity (premium cakes, breads and buns) and Baked Gold (premium cookies and rusks).
The Company operates jointly with its subsidiary, Crazy Bakery Udyog Private Limited, under a formal Non-Compete and Resource Sharing Agreement that segments product, geography and trade channels between parent and subsidiary to avoid internal overlap.

2. Business Model & Revenue Streams
Crazy Snacks operates an end-to-end manufacture-to-distributor model. The Company procures raw materials (predominantly wheat flour / maida, sugar, edible oils, yeast, chana dal and potatoes), manufactures finished products at its two GIDA, Gorakhpur facilities, packs in-house, and distributes through a tiered network of large and sub-distributors who in turn supply kirana stores, supermarkets, modern trade outlets and convenience shops.

4. Key Strengths
- Diverse Product Portfolio. With 297 products priced between ₹2 and ₹170, Crazy Snacks addresses both value-driven and premium segments across breads, buns, cakes, cookies, rusks and packaged snacks under three distinct brands. The breadth allows the Company to serve daily essentials at the ₹2-₹5 price point (26.01% of revenue in 9M FY26) while also participating in the ₹51-₹170 premium segment (3.12%).
- Quality Control & Certification. The Company holds ISO 22000:2018 food safety management certification, an FSSAI license and Legal Metrology registration. Modern manufacturing equipment combined with stage-wise quality inspections ensures consistency in finished goods.
- Inclusive Offerings Across Price Segments. Products are tiered to address mass-volume rural and value-conscious urban consumers (Crazy), premium urban bakery consumers (Bity), and indulgence-oriented buyers (Baked Gold) — enabling participation across the FMCG snack price ladder.
- Innovative Recipes and Flavours. The Company refines recipes by tracking regional consumer preferences in North India and introduces variants across savoury (masala, cream & onion, tomato chips), traditional (namkeen), and indulgent (cup cakes, layered cakes, premium rusks) formats.
- In-House Packaging and Distribution. Ownership of packaging machinery and a 35-vehicle owned fleet provides operational control over packaging consistency, branding, inventory turnover, and last-mile delivery within Uttar Pradesh — reducing dependence on third-party logistics for the core market.
- Experienced Promoter and Management Team. Promoter Navin Kumar Agarwal is a Chartered Accountant (FCA, ICAI 1991) with over 20 years of industry experience, providing financial and operational leadership. The Company has an established management team across manufacturing, supply chain and commercial functions.
5. Growth Strategy
- Enhancing Market Presence in Core Regions — UP and Bihar. The Company plans to deepen its distribution and shelf-share in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, where it has grown consolidated revenue from ₹85.84 Cr in FY23 (96.32% of revenue) to ₹110.27 Cr in FY25 (99.16% of revenue). The existing 1,840+ distributors across these two states form the platform for incremental town-level penetration.
- Expanding Into New Markets. The Company plans to extend its distribution footprint into adjacent states — building on early traction already visible in Maharashtra (15 distributors as of Dec 31, 2025), Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and West Bengal — by leveraging the subsidiary's modern-trade and e-commerce orientation for the premium SKUs.
- Automation of Manufacturing. A portion of the IPO proceeds is earmarked for machinery and infrastructure capital expenditure of ₹9.92 Cr at the existing facilities, intended to raise production speed, improve batch consistency, and reduce manual-process inefficiencies — supporting both unit-cost improvement and incremental capacity.
- Entering New Product Lines. The Company intends to extend into health-focused product categories aligned with shifting consumer preferences toward better-for-you snacking, using the existing distribution network for a low-friction launch.
